Take advantage of a Marion Soil & Water Conservation District tradition! We hold a Native Plant & Tree Sale each March to encourage more people to use native plants in their yards, on their farms, or at their businesses. Native plants help to enhance your yard or garden by providing food and shelter for birds and other wildlife. Also, once established, they require less water and maintenance as they are already adapted to our climate and soils!

Native Plant and Tree Sale
Proceeds fund two scholarships for students studying Natural Resources.
	March 12, 2010 10:00am to 6:00pm
	March 13, 2010 9:00am to 1:00pm
Sale will be located at: Marion Garden 3180 Center St NE Salem, OR (Behind the Marion County Health and Service Building)
At the sale, we feature deciduous and evergreen plants, shrubs and trees. Most of the plant stock will be sold as bare root seedlings, and our prices and variety are hard to beat. A few will be sold as potted plants. There is no minimum purchase required and plants will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Our staff and volunteers will assist you with questions about the plants and provide labels for the plants that are sold.
Due to the cold weather experienced in December, we will not be able to offer 15 species that we had on our original plant list. We also had to make a few changes to some plant sizes and prices.  Please see the updated plant price list to view the 80+ species that will be available at this year’s plant sale.

Availability of species may be limited due to uncontrollable growing conditions (weather, etc.)
