Trifolium incarnatum
Crimson Clover is an annual groundcover plant, which can grow up to 1.5 ft tall. It’s flowering season is from May to September, during which it produces beautiful deep pink clusters of cone shaped flowers. It is very similar to Red Clover in that it serves many of the same benefits such as weed suppressant cover and makes a great cover crop for rotational field management. However it should not be grown with camellias or gooseberries because it harbors a mite that could damage those plants.
