Perideridia gairdneri
Slender edible perennial with distinct caraway scent from the carrot family. Ferny basal leaves with umbels of clustered, tiny, white to pinkish flowers. Tuberous roots were/are an important food source for local tribes. All parts of this plant are edible including the roots, the leaves, and the seeds which have a flavor similar to caraway.
