Marion Soil and Water Conservation District is one of 45 Conservation Districts in Oregon. Located on the east side of the mid-Willamette River Basin, the Marion Soil and Water Conservation District works with urban and rural property owners, operators, public officials, state and federal agencies, and private organizations to conserve natural resources in Marion County, Oregon.
Marion SWCD’s mission is to protect, conserve and improve the quality of soil and water in Marion County through planning, technical assistance, and education.

The Marion SWCD is governed by a Board with five Zone and two At Large Director positions. The District’s administrative tasks and programs are coordinated by paid staff, who are managed by the District Manager.
