We’re holding an open house for farmers at Chemeketa Community College’s new Ag Complex. We invite you to attend – enjoy light refreshments, learn about the funding streams and other assistance Marion SWCD offers to help you conserve soil and protect water resources. MSWCD staff will give a short talk on our ag water quality and conservation grant programs – including our new Cover Crop Funding Assistance. Andrea Sonnen (ODA) will cover proper pesticide use. We’ll also have time for farmers to mingle and talk with staff from MSWCD and other agencies.
