How are you connected to salmon?
If you are curious about Pacific Salmon and their freshwater habitats, come walk the path at Bush’s Pasture Park on Community Salmon Watch Day and learn about these awe-inspiring fish and what makes them special, explore the key characteristics used to determine stream health, and have hands-on fun! This free, move-at-your-own-pace event is appropriate for all ages. Everyone is sure to learn something new!
Most stations are along Pringle Creek. Visitors are encouraged to park on Leffelle Street on the south side of the park.
If you need special accommodations, including translation services, in order to participate, please call the event coordinator at 503-949-4709 or email heath.keirstead@marionswcd.net as far in advance as possible.
