We will be getting a firsthand view of the new filtration system added to the City of Salem’s water treatment facility as well as following the course of where our water travels before and after we use it. Don’t miss this chance to get inspired to take action in preserving our community’s water resources!

8:30 am – Start at Office for intro and coffee and offer carpool

9:00 am – arrive at Gehren Island treatment facility in Stayton for our first tour.

11:00 am drive back to Stayton office for lunch break

11-11:45 am – lunch and presentation by DEQ?

11:45 – drive to Willow Lake Pollution Facility

12:30 – arrive at second tour site and begin tour.

2:30- end tour and drive back to Stayton for carpoolers

3:00 – end tour at Stayton office
