On this episode of Conservation Spotlight, Polk SWCD staff chat with Joe Scott. Joe is the Teaching and Learning Coordinator for the Traditional Ecological Inquiry Program. He will talk about the role that fire plays in managing the landscape and the resulting ecological benefits. He’ll also discuss using storytelling as a means to pass along traditional ecological knowledge and bridging that with contemporary insight on land management.
