This field tour is for members of the Mid-Willamette CWMA, partner organizations, and other land managers interested in invasive plants, restoration ecology, and conservation.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 24^th for an informative field tour in the Santiam River corridor. We will visit numerous sites, each with their own challenges, and hear from the agencies who manage these sites and the adjacent landscapes. We’ll learn about the challenges they are facing in the early stages of their post-fire restoration projects, the strategies they are using to accomplish their goals and how invasive species fit into the puzzle.

We’ll kick the day off with coffee and donuts at Fishermen’s Bend, then we’ll visit North Santiam State Rec Area and we’ll close out the day at John Neal Park with a group lunch and short CWMA meeting with round-table updates. We are looking forward to seeing everybody in person for the first time in a long time!
