Mahonia repens
An evergreen, stoloniferous shrub and groundcover. Leathery holly-like leaves, yellow flowers, and blue-black fruit. Grows well in shade or sun and is very drought tolerant. Leaves turn bronze in winter. Native range is east of the Cascades, but it grows well in the Willamette Valley.
