Plant Description

Low-growing perennial groundcover with oval to heart shaped leaves and light purple to violet flowers. Blooms mid spring to early or late summer. Flowers are edible and commonly used in salads and on cakes. This is a host plant for the endangered Oregon silverspot butterfly.
