Sagittaria latifolia

Plant Description

This unique aquatic plant is also known as broadleaf arrowhead or duck-potato. Highly variable arrow-shaped leaves pointing upwards grow 1-4 ft tall. Pretty sprays of white flowers bloom from July to September. Grows along the edges of ponds and streams, and produces edible tubers. Requires moisture to thrive.
