Trillium ovatum

Plant Description

Beautiful perennial that produces large showy white flowers in early spring that fade to delicate pink as the season progresses. Three petals arranged in a whorl at the end of a dainty stem are mirrored by 3 leaves also arranged in a whorl. Can be found in drifts in forest understories, sometimes poking up through snow.
