Big Leaf Maple

Acer macrophyllum

Hardy and majestic large single or multi-trunked shade tree. Grows to 100 ft tall. Large leaves turn yellow in autumn. Greenish yellow flowers in hanging clusters in early spring turn into large clusters of whirligigs. Attracts bees and other pollinators, and seeds are eaten by wildlife.
