False Lily of the Valley

Maianthemum dilatatum

An excellent native groundcover for shady spots, false lily-of-the-valley has attractive heart shaped leaves and clusters of white flowers on short stalks. It blooms late spring to early summer and produces eye-popping red berries in late summer. False lily-of-the-valley grows best in moist wooded areas where is spreads by rhizomes to create a luscious green carpet.
