Hydrophyllum tenuipes
Pacific waterleaf is a lush groundcover in moist forests and woodlands. Large, soft, hairy leaves are born on short herbaceous stems emerging directly from the ground. Clusters of greenish-white flowers bloom in on stalks above the leaves. On drier sites, it will go dormant during the heat of the summer. In ideal conditions, it can spread readily.
