Red-Stem Ceanothus

Ceanothus sanguineus

Stems of this small shrub become a deep red color as they age. Leaves are oval shaped, clusters of white to pink, fragrant flowers, blooms May-July. Improves soil quality with its deep roots and ability to fix nitrogen.
