Slough sedge is a hardy, attractive, grass-like evergreen sedge that tolerates a wide variety of light levels and moisture regimes. It may be aggressive in moist areas, making it a great option for stabilizing soil along ponds and streams. Native frogs lay their eggs in the emergent vegetation.
